Features of Android 16

In built photo picker - In apps there is built in photo picker . By the help of that without full access of your gallery you can select photo and videos . This feature improves safety and privacy.

Health record access : This is a new features that allows users to access medical records. This feature is in testing mode and this feature is basically Design for healthcare and developers .

Privacy sandbox : Google tryes to improve privacy in sandbox . That allows users to collect data and share . This feature is design to improve personal security.

Easy app testing : For developers this testing tool is design for . With the help of the developer we can test any features without affecting any application. This tool is mainly to test major and small updates at different levels.

Release time line
For Android 16 google has been setup 6 step . The second preview will be roll out in December. In January 2025 beta release will starts . Platform stability will be released on March , April. The final release will comes in may 2025 . For developers the new set of api has to be seen in Q4 2025 .

This is available for Google pixel 6 A and it's new model . In which it includes pixel 6 pixel 7 pixel 8, pixel 9 and pixel fold . For all these device ota image will be provided . For initial testing it can be test through Android studio and Android emalutor.
